Holiday Island is in Carroll County which was formed in 1823. Known for its breathtaking scenery, the changing seasons are a favorite among residents and visitors alike. Flat-topped mountains, forests, meadows, lakes, streams and limestone bluffs make up the Ozark Mountain Region where Holiday Island is located. Carroll County is named for Charles Carroll, a signer of the Declaration of Independence from Maryland.
Holiday Island enjoys a prime location that is just 10 minutes from the charming Victorian town of Eureka Springs, less than one hour from the Northwest Arkansas 540 Corridor (Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale and Fayetteville) and an hour from Branson, Missouri putting entertainment, shopping and sporting events within easy reach of the beauty and serenity that comes with living in Holiday Island.
